In the urge to financially secure your family’s future and at times the insatiable greed to acquire materialistic things, we seldom get an opportunity to pick a profession, which resonates with our passion.

However, I was one of the fortunate ones, where in I could pursue and make a career in a field that I truly enjoy, i.e. Training. It was immensely gratifying connecting with so many people, understanding their needs and in some way making a difference in their lives. I did monetarily benefit from it; but, the love and respect I received in return, surpasses everything.

Apart from training, if given a chance, I would love to become a dancer, even if I don’t get a dime for it. I would still be richer in experience, learning all the beautiful Indian and International dance styles is an absolute dream come true.

Third and the last item on the list is being a patient listener to young battered souls. I did get the opportunity to spend sometime and interact with some lovely souls, who were overwhelmed due to circumstantial pressure.

I in a way helped them heal, by not counselling them; but, by just listening to them without any prejudice and nudging them to find the answers themselves, gave them strength to face the situation and take responsibility.
