Being an HR professional and a training specialist all through my career, I had the good fortune to travel extensively all across the country. Through the training workshops and interview campaigns, I met and interacted with people from varied backgrounds and ethnicity. It was an enriching experience to say the least and each interaction gave me a better understanding of human psychology.
As a trainer, and front runner to drive positive changes, I’ve ensured that I do not come across as bias or judgmental towards my fellow participants, treat each of them with utmost respect and dignity. This thumb rule has helped me to connect and get desired results.
However, I have distanced myself from anyone, who through their actions or words have made me or any other colleague feel uncomfortable as a woman and has not improved in spite of feedback. No matter how good the facade or how hard a person tries to hide their intentions, a woman’s sixth sense enables them to identify such motives and keep them at arm’s length.
