When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

What is success?

The answer to this question would vary from person to person, each perceiving it differently, individually earmarking a threshold for themselves to fulfill aspirations, professionally and personally.

In my purview, the first and only person that I think led a successful life was my God mother; an embodiment of perfection, successful in every facet of her life. She dedicated her life to following the gospel of the Lord, spreading his message, healing and loving countless souls. Her selfless service bore fruits in this world and I’m sure in the divine realm as well. I pray and wish to tread on her teachings, be the person she wanted me to become, work relentlessly to get her affirmation that ‘I am worthy of her love’. This for me, would be the penultimate goal of being successful.
