If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

As I sit to write today’s daily prompt blog, I reminded of the phrase

“Man proposes and God Disposes!”

Reminding me that I have limited control over my life and that ultimately, it is God who decides what happens. By this, there is no way that I am trying to imply that one should become complacent or stop setting goals. It’s about having a realistic understanding of our place in the universe and acknowledging that we don’t have complete control over our lives, and thus we should also be open to the possibility that things may not turn out the way we expect.

Now to answer the question, I’m very happy and proud to live in the country of my birth, India, and my heart swells with pride for its rich cultural heritage and diversity. The land on which our God’s and Goddess’s walked on.

I cannot fathom living anywhere else, this is where my family and friends live and the deep rooted cultural values that I have imbibed over the years are part of my identity. Leaving all this and moving else where in the desire of greener pastures is something my heart and soul would not allow.
